Davey Curlijets

from Angel Numbers: 333 by David Heatley

/

lyrics

Davey Curlijets was a boy soldier
Couldn't wait til the day he got older
So he could fight with a knife and a handgun
Pop! Pop! Cut! Cut! Put 'em in the wagon

Please! Can you hear me, Davey Curlijets?
You are not dead. You are not dead. You are not dead.

Now who could stop such a dynamo fighter?
See him comin and they turn a shade whiter
Every night of the week he ups the ante
When he's out on the street with the other vigilantes

Please! Can you hear me, Davey Curlijets?
You are not dead. You are not dead. You are not dead.

Please! Can you hear me, Davey Curlijets?
You are not dead. You are not dead. You are not dead.

Cut to the scene where Davey Curlijets meets his untimely end. He's being flown to England in the dead of night to penetrate a sleeper cell of neo-Nazi skinheads. Crawling through the ventilator ducts, armed to the teeth, Davey Curlijets drops down into the fray—a whirling dervish of death, knives spinning, bullets spraying, sending racist teenage thugs to meet their unholy makers...

Close up on their faces, chopped and quartered—half a jaw spewing jets of crimson piss. Globs of hemoglobin arc and land, spattering into Davey Curlijets' visage. He sees red. It's right at this moment that a half-dead Nazi, pulling and dragging himself by one hand, locates a stray pistol and points it shakily at our hero. The evil boy's aim proves to be impossibly true...

Davey Curlijets lets loose a gutteral howl and drops down to the concrete floor, falling through memory fragments and dream noise, his life leaking out through the hole in his freshly torn stomach. The frame tightens in on his one open eye, fluttering frantically before it closes itself to the world forever.

The music swells. Fade to black. Titles read, "Here Lies Davey Curlijets, A Noble Warrior, The Likes of Which We May Never Again Know!"

Please! Can you hear me, Davey Curlijets?
You are not dead. You are not dead. You are not dead.
